Rugged Meets Pretty
Our goal is always to supply materials that capture the imagination of those entering a space. Whether it’s an office space, a retail store, or your upstairs bedroom, we find that the surprise and drama of textured woods plays magically against the soft, pretty, and refined.
[Retail Space] Anthropologie
The intersection of pretty and rugged is exhibited in the two-level Anthropologie store, which opened last month in Walnut Creek, CA. Urban supplied reclaimed materials such as wood flooring, cladding and stair treads in this space that showcases BHLDN’s wedding dresses and Terrain’s gardening tools alongside the brand’s clothing and accessories.
[Office Space] Free People
Free People stands for all things pretty. This feminine, free-spirited brand has created a vibrant space for employees to collaborate in its corporate office, located on the Navy Pier in Philadelphia, that features Urban’s reclaimed materials. We also supply materials like reclaimed flooring and rustic timbers to Free People retail spaces, where everything fixtures to crocheted hangers are handmade.
[Living Space] Sundance Catalog
The bedroom is often a place where the play of rustic and feminine is well-suited. Pairing our reclaimed wood bed (available through Sundance) with a sheer canopy brings an element of each into the room. Add in a soft quilt and a jute rug and you have created a imaginative space where rugged and pretty flourish.
