reclaimed materials - l'amico restaurant | nyc
French chef Laurent Tourondel created L’Amico with his Italian Grandmother in mind. His inspiration was those Sunday meals with family and friends.
The open kitchen is the heart of the 1600-square-foot space in Chelsea’s Kimpton Eventi. The design, by Crème Design, has a “mod-meets-farmhouse vibe” executed with geometric patterned reclaimed wood and tile flooring.
Crème partnered with Classic Woodwork, a Canada based contractor, to panelize the nearly 3000 board feet of reclaimed red oak sawn from timbers.
Passersby on Sixth Avenue get a glimpse into the L'AMICO but if you are ever in the area, we suggest you stop in to see this beautiful restaurant for yourself.
