reclaimed furnishings
pink taco | los angeles
We love ourselves some Pink Taco! Mexican cuisine and a killer margarita (or two.)
We are quite partial to their environment as well especially since they’ve used our reclaimed furnishings to their decor.
The chunky outdoor table tops were crafted with reclaimed tamarack pine, a substantial 3 inches thick, formerly used as floor joist from a Wisconsin Dairy Barn.
The red-stained interior table tops were crafted with reclaimed maple salvaged from the Simmons Furniture Factory in New London, WI. This historic factory was once home to Thomas Edison and his Grandson, housing their phonograph business at the turn of the century.
Shelving behind the bar was salvaged from a historic granary in Superior, WI. The unique undulations in the boards were a result of 100 years of grain pouring over and gradually eroding the surface of the wood. We call these one of kind boards “grain polished”.
