Celebrating Scissors
Especially during the holiday season, you’ve got to give a nod to your favorite pair of scissors.
No doubt, they have been working hard.
While the scissors was most likely invented in 1500 BC in ancient Egypt, most of us search for an orange handle when they suddenly go missing.
This year, when BOS asked us to design office furnishings for Fiskars, a three-century-old, international organization, we gladly accepted the challenge.
We suggested reclaimed elm, a light, beautifully-grained hardwood, as a nod to their Scandanavian roots.
