Timbers & Beams
Urban Evolutions specializes in reclaimed timbers and beams from turn-of-the-century barns, mills and factories. Our reclaimed barn timbers are available either hand-hewn or rough-sawn, solid or constructed. Most beams are available in naturally occurring browns or grays, however, each can be hand-finished to order.
SOLID
Solid beams are available in hand-hewn or as sawn factory timbers. We inventory both hardwoods and softwood species:

- Elm
- Pine
- Heat Pine
- Doug Fir
CONSTRUCTED
Our constructed beams can be made in nearly any size. Also known as hollow box beams or faux beams, our 100% reclaimed constructed beams can be ordered in their raw state or power-washed, de-nailed, hand-sanded, mortise-pockets filled, and fresh-sawn for installation.
